This boot camp is group program designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of intense group intervals over 45-60 minutes of time. This circuit involves alternating a cardio exercise with classic combination strength moves, so you get the benefits of both cardio and strength in one simple workout. This class promotes increased lean muscle mass, fat loss, camaraderie, and team effort. I like to push people a little bit further than they would normally push themselves in the gym alone. In warmer weather, workouts could be held outdoors using the same indoor bodyweight exercises such as pushups, squats, and burpees, interspersed with running and competitive games. The idea is that everyone involved works at their own pace as they team up and work towards one goal, either in pairs, small teams of three or four, or even two teams head on. There are many other benefits of a fitness boot camp, which includes mental health. It is known that regular aerobic exercise can help to reduce high blood pressure, hypertension and combat stress. Part of this is due to the release of endorphins, which act as a mood elevator. Our boot camp is focused on improving the fitness of individuals at all levels. We have boot campers of all ages and fitness levels. We want to keep you guessing - and challenge you differently every class! We want you to have tons of fun – but please be prepared for some high intensity training.
